Robert Oppenheimer

Robert Oppenheimer led the scientific team at the Los Alamos Laboratory which developed the world’s first nuclear weapons during WWII, a top secret government program called The Manhattan Project. Because of his central role in this effort he has often been referred to as “The Father Of The Atomic Bomb”.
